Sun’s Out, Burger Buns Out!
By Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana
If you’re like us, then it doesn’t matter what time of day it is… you’re always craving juicy burgers, crispy fries and alllll the sauce (ranch, honey mustard, BBQ… you don’t discriminate).
Well, fellow burger aficionados, we’ve got good news. If you’re vacationing at Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana, then you’ve got an all-access pass to craft cheeseburgers and other comfort favorites at BRGRS.PH. Open for lunch and dinner every day, it’s the perfect place for a post-poolside lunch or casual family dinner and even features an interior food truck fit for photo-taking!
Here are our recommendations on what to order. Pair each with a side of crispy cut fries or the healthier sweet potato versions, and don’t forget to post it on Instagram, of course.
Prime your palate with a classic Wedge Salad, Crispy Chicken Wings made with bourbon bbq sauce, or the true sleeper hit of the menu, Veggie Chili – a combo of beans, tomato, sweet potato, avocados and crispy chips. So. Good.
Now for the drool-worthy stuff. You can always opt for a classic burger, topped with your choice of lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles on the side (picky kiddos, pick what you want… this one’s for you!). If you’re feeling fancier, however, try the Down Under with braised chuck beef, caramelized onions, goat cheese and truffle mayo on a sourdough bun, or opt for a Southern Double – two beef patties with smoked bacon, melted cheddar cheese and a sesame bun. If you’re not feeling the red meat, go for the Buffalo Chicken Sliders with a side of celery and blue cheese.
One of the coolest things about BRGRS.PH is the Machete Burger. Weighing in at over a kilo and feeding up to eight people (!), this mega meal is like something out of a food challenge. The actual burger is served with all the staples – cheese, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, pickles and fries. Oh, and did we mention the servers cut it with a real machete?!
The only thing BRGRS.PH can’t serve up? The oh-so-secret recipe for the famous Krabby Patty. Barnacles.
